The Green Hope Women's Lacrosse program is indebted to Carol Scarola, Jim Scarola and Todd Wissing for playing pivotal roles in creating and developing the Green Hope Women's and Men's Lacrosse Teams. The three of them pushed for a club program in 2003. Their tireless efforts turned the club teams into full-fledged Varsity teams the next year.

Carol continued her support for Green Hope women's varsity lacrosse by being the team coordinator and coach's assistant for the first three years of the team's existence (2004-2006), even after her daughter Kiera graduated in 2005.

Thank you, Carol!

Green Hope is also indebted to Heather [Stafford] Piper, who served as the head coach for Green Hope's first four varsity seasons. She led the Lady Falcons to State Finals all four years, with State Championship titles in 2005 and 2006, and Conference Championship titles all four years. She amassed a total record of 74-10, with only 3 regular season defeats in four years.

Heather currently works for Global Knowledge in Cary. She resides in Holly Springs with her husband, Jeff, daughter, Halle, and dog, Danlee.

Without the efforts of Jim, Todd, and especially Carol and Heather, the Green Hope Women's Lacrosse Team would not be where it is today.

Special thanks to Ri-Shea & Christopher Schlitter for their tireless efforts as team coordinator and web master during their daughter Cheryl's years with the program!
