History of Women's Lacrosse at Green Hope
In 2003 a handful of dedicated lacrosse folks started a club lacrosse team at Green Hope High School for both men and women. Green Hope fielded a varsity lacrosse team for both men and women starting in 2004. In three years of varsity lacrosse, the Green Hope Women's Lacrosse team has amassed a record of 57 wins and just 5 losses.
In its first varsity season, the Green Hope Women's Lacrosse team posted a 18 and 2 record, was the Eastern Conference Champion, and finished 3rd place in the 2004 State Championship at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. In the 2005 Season, the team finished with a 19 and 1 record (only loss was to New York state powerhouse Baldwinsville), repeated as Eastern Conference Champions and won the 2005 State Championship. In the 2006 Season, the team finished with a 20 and 2 record. The only two losses came in an early season tournament in Atlanta to 2005 State Champions Milton HS (Georgia) and Harpeth Hall HS (Tennessee). The Lady Falcons repeated as Eastern Conference Champions for the third straight year and repeated as State Champions for the second consecutive year.
